Our Day at Sun World:

We had rented a car for our stay at Da Nang, and had started early in the morning. It took us one hour to reach from our hotel at city centre and we touched main gate of the Sun World by 9 am. Booking was done online so we parked our car at designated parking zone and headed towards the main cable car station by shuttle bus.

As the cable car ascended the mountain, we couldn’t help but gasp in awe at the breath taking views unfolding before our eyes. The lush green forests and misty valleys below seemed to stretch on forever, and the Golden Bridge, with its giant stone hands, glimmered in the distance.

My friends grinned at my reaction. “Told you it’s worth it!” I told them as we stepped out of the cable car and stepped into the charming French Village.

The air was filled with the sweet scent of freshly baked croissants, and the sound of French music drifted from the cafes. We strolled admiring the quaint architecture and taking in the romantic atmosphere.

As we walked, we stumbled upon a small café, where we decided to stop for a coffee and pastry. The owner, a friendly French expat, greeted us with a warm smile and recommended his famous croissants.

As we sipped our coffee, my wife turned and said, “This is the perfect day.” I smiled, and replied, “It’s about to get even better.”

We then headed towards the majestic Golden Bridge. Upon arrival, we were greeted by its magnificent stone hands stretching out to welcome us. We wandered along the bridge, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding hills and city. The cool mountain air was invigorating, and we got refreshed completely.

But the bridge remains crowded always as it is the most famous instagrammable spot for taking photos. In fact, most tourists are here solely for Golden Bridge. However, some patience and you may get chance to take picture of yourself and your near dear ones without including hats or ice cream of others.

Platform next to the bridge also offers a lovely view of the golden bridge and there are multiple statues next to it where people take photos and relaxes in the park.

The Fantasy Park beckoned, and we spent the afternoon inside it watching 4D movies. No laughing and screaming on thrilling rides and games for us but for youngsters they are definitely a major attraction.

Next stop were the gardens and flower parks. They are truly a sensory delight. We wandered through vibrant bloom, scenic pathways and picturesque landscapes. Most spectacular was Le Jardin D’Amour, a romantic garden with beautiful flowers and scenery. We also enjoyed stunning displays of diverse flora and charming spots at Love Lock Garden.

As the sun began to set, we headed to The Square Du Dome, where live music and street performers added to the festive atmosphere. We indulged in delicious local cuisine and wine, feeling grateful for this magical experience.

As evening started to descend we reluctantly boarded the cable car back down the mountain, my heart filled with memories of an unforgettable day at Sun World Ba Na Hills.
